Our Vineyard
In the heart of Balnot-sur-Laignes, in the Côte des Bar, our eight-hectare family vineyard has been passed down through five generations. Spread across the terroirs of Balnot-sur-Laignes and Les Riceys, we grow Champagne’s three emblematic grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, revealing the diversity and distinctive character of our terroir.
The winegrower’s craft never stops evolving. Faithful to the heritage passed down by our elders, we continually adapt our practices to combine tradition, innovation and respect for the environment. Every intervention in the vineyard is carried out with precision, with constant care for our soils, our biodiversity and the women and men who share in this adventure.
Because excellence is born from the precision of every gesture, we oversee each stage in the creation of our wines with the highest standards. From vineyard to cellar, every decision is guided by a search for balance, finesse and authenticity. Our cuvées are patiently aged, then blended with precision to create elegant, generous Champagnes true to the identity of our house.

Five generations
Our History

Early 20th century
The House’s story begins when our great-great-grandfather René plants his first vines in Balnot-sur-Laignes. Despite phylloxera and two World Wars, he preserves his passion for the vine.
1950
Our great-grandfather Raymond produces the first bottles of Champagne TREUFFET, giving birth to the family house.
1970s–80s
His son René, our grandfather, continues to develop the estate with the same exacting standards.
2000s
Jean-Noël and Marie-Laure carry on this family expertise with passion and determination. They develop the work in the vineyard and raise the profile of Maison TREUFFET.
2026
Yann, Victorien and Arthur represent the fifth generation of the TREUFFET family. Together, they continue this adventure with a shared ambition: to preserve the authenticity of their heritage while moving the house forward.
